The EVC Travel Team started in Gaylord on Monday, our home for the next two weeks. Those of us from the south only really dreamed of a white Christmas, but they certainly had one here we’re guessing. Four more inches overnight, and it’s continuing to pile up! I think it’s awesome, but in my older age, I find I’m surrounded by those may not agree!
After a hiccup in hosting, the team has found its garage. The Otsego County Bus System graciously opened their doors to us and we moved in yesterday. What a great facility and great people! All the room we need, plus some! Even with a sick crewman, we’re nearing our regular pace and putting the “Monday” we had Monday to bed!
Fresh off a Christmas break, Kalamazoo Crew is closing out Flint and working on the Gerald Ford Airport job. With cars on deck and the potential of bringing the Fifth District on sooner than later, work shortage isn’t in the vocabulary. We’re even in Cadillac this week, assisting with the installation of LPR cameras. Who would have guessed EVC could be in three places at once!
